Tatarstan citizens can take part in the II All-Russian competition “The best eco-volunteer detachment”

The acceptance of applications for participation in the II All-Russian Competition “The Best Eco-volunteer detachment” is opened. It is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Non-Governmental Ecological Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky in conjunction with the All-Russian Society for the Conservation of Nature, ANO Expo-center Russian Wildlife Reserves and the GreenLife Interregional Ecological Public Organization.

The competition is held in the following nominations: “Forest Volunteers” (projects of volunteer groups for conservation and restoration of forests and forest plantations), “Helping reserves” (projects of volunteer groups in specially protected natural territories), “Eco-volunteers for rivers and lakes” (projects of volunteer groups on cleaning the shores of water bodies), “City Eco- volunteers” (volunteer detachments projects on improvement of courtyards and city streets), “No rubbish!” (volunteer detachments projects on solving the problem of garbage), “Eco-view” (creating and distribution of information and educational materials and media resources on environmental and volunteer topics).

Volunteer groups consisting of citizens aged 10 and more years who have implemented social and environmental projects are invited to participate. Applications are accepted until September 30, 2019.
