The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. Let us recall that it took place from April 22 to June 22, 2019.
As part of the campaign, the forest fund area was cleaned up, as well as notice boards, information boards and resting places in the forest were repaired and arranged. More than 9.7 thousand people joined the campaign, and solid municipal waste, deadwood and fallen trees in the amount of 3.3 thousand cubic meters were collected and removed from the forest fund.
The Republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” has been held by the Ministry since 2010. Its main goal is to create a favorable sanitary-ecological situation in forests. The campaign takes place in all municipal districts of the republic; regular participants are employees of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations, enterprises, tenants of forest areas, representatives of gardening associations, environmental associations, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, volunteers.
This year the campaign will also take place in the autumn period from September 16 to November 16.
