Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, met with the applicants of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College. The meeting was attended by the Director of the College Rim Fakhraziyev, the staff of the Ministry, head-foresters of forest districts and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
Opening the meeting, Minister Ravil Kuzyurov thanked the school graduates for their interest in the forest industry and the decision to continue their studies at the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College.
Director Rim Fakhraziyev told in details about the college. “Our institution has a long, rich and interesting history, he said. - Since 1921, more than 9,000 specialists have been graduated”.
Rim Fakhraziyev says that the college is training specialists in the areas of “Forest and Forest Park”, “Landscape Gardening and Landscape Construction” and “Economics and Accounting”. “Also, our students receive additional vocational education - they master the professions of a forest lumber worker, a tractor driver, a manufacturer of artwork made of wicker, a huntsman, a landscape designer and a woodcarver”, he noted.
“We have all conditions for successful student learning: there are specialized classrooms and laboratories, a library, a gym, computer classes, a 13-hectare forest plot, a nursery, a dendrological garden, and a training and production site equipped with a non-waste wood processing line, - Rim Fakhraziyev added. - Our students do practical work not only on the basis of a college, but also in the leading enterprises of our republic and other regions of the country”.
According to him, various cultural events, sporting events, etc. are held for students in the extracurricular time.
After Ravil Kuzyurov acquainted the participants of the meeting with the state of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the ongoing work on forests protection, conservation and reproduction. “Forest industry specialists will always be in demand, he stressed. - Despite the rapid development of the world, the forest remains a treasure, an invaluable green wealth of the country. You know as well as I do about the most important ecological and social functions of forests. Without them, our Earth will become a lifeless ball”.
In conclusion, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke about measures being developed to support young industry professionals.
