Pupils of school forest district “Nurgali onyklary” will take part in the All-Russian Congress of School Forest Districts
From September 9 to September 12, 2019, the All-Russian Congress of School Forest Districts will be held on the basis of the Desnyanka children's recreation complex in the Bryansk Region. The event is organized by the Federal Forestry Agency with support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Government and Forest Management of the Bryansk Region and others. The Republic of Tatarstan will be represented at the congress by pupils of the school forestry “Nurgali onyklary” of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “Leskhoz Secondary School” of Sabinskiy municipal district.
Within the framework of the congress, a team competition “Forest Keepers”, various individual competitions, master classes, a conference for school forestry leaders on topic “Actual issues of vocational guidance of pupils in forestry schools in the current conditions of development of the forest industry”, etc. will be held. Participants will have to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of forestry, skills of planting seedlings, forest taxation, extinguishing forest fires, orienting oneself on the ground and providing first aid.
It is worth noting that this year the All-Russian Congress of School Forest Districts is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of founding of the first school forestry in the country, created on the basis of Secondary School No. 1 named after B.V. Belyavskiy in Bryansk region.
