Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuziurov held a series of meetings on results of work of subordinate institutions for 8 months of 2019.
First, the Minister met with the staff of the Privolzhskiy forest district and Privolzhskiy forestry enterprise. The keynote speaker was the Head-Forester, Rustem Ismagilov. He said that over the past period, forest restoration was carried out on the area of 12 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops – on 91.5 hectares, addition of forest crops – on 12 hectares, establishment of protective forest stands – on 16 hectares. As part of the state forest supervision, 750 patrols in the forests were conducted and 44 warnings were issued on inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements.
The Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuziurov called on employees to strengthen control over prevention and detection of violations of forest legislation and to complete the autumn forestry work in the established agricultural time.
Head-Forester Idris Khamitov reported on measures taken to protect, conserve and reproduce forests at a meeting with experts from the Zelenodolskiy forest district and the Zelenodolskiy experimental forestry enterprise. In particular, he said that this year reforestation works on the area of 27 hectares were carried out, care for young stands – on 40.4 hectares, harvesting of illiquid wood – on 20.6 hectares. In order to ensure fire safety in the forests, 400 km of new mineralized strips were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 519 km were maintained.
The Minister’s working trip ended with a meeting with the staff of the Prigorodnyi Forest District and the Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise. After listening to the report of the Head-Forester Ilnur Kashafeyev, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuziurov gave a number of instructions concerning the procurement of seeds of the main forest-forming species, conduct of republican environmental campaigns, etc.
The First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov took part today in meetings on results of Mamadyshskiy and Kamskiy forest districts, and the Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov - in the Bavlinskiy, Bugulminskiy and Leninogorskiy forest districts.
