The Ministry discussed the results of anti-corruption work for the first half of 2019

Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. It discussed the results of work in the field of anti-corruption policy for the first half of 2019.

The meeting was opened and announced by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilgizar Zaripov. Elvira Ziyatdinova, the Leading Consultant in Sector of Public Service and Personnel responsible for prevention of corruption and other offenses, made the keynote speech at the event.

She recalled that the work in the field of combating corruption in the Ministry was carried out in accordance with the state program approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 512 dated July 19, 2014 and the departmental anti-corruption program of the Ministry. “One of the main tasks is to receive and verify the accuracy and completeness of information provided by state civil servants about their income, expenses, property and property-related obligations, as well as their spouses and minor children”, said Elvira Ziyatdinova.

This year the declaration campaign was held from January 1 to April 30. Information on income, expenses, property and property-related obligations was provided by 67 employees of the Ministry and 61 heads of subordinate institutions.

“In order to ensure protection of rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations from threats associated with corruption in the Ministry, the Helpline is working. For the first half of the year there were no complaints about such violations, - added Elvira Ziyatdinova. - Also the other day a poll was opened on the Ministry’s website on the state of the fight against corruption. It will be held until October 1 of this year”.

In addition, at the meeting, the results of the reviews of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policies were reviewed and the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of the work of officials of personnel services of public authorities were examined.
