In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is continuing to improve the sanitary condition of forest stands. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of September 10, sanitary and recreational measures were carried out on the area of more than 2.3 thousand hectares. High rates of work are demonstrated by the staff of the Training and Experimental Sabinskiy, Cheremshanskiy and Mamadyshskiy forestry enterprises of the republic.

In total, this year in Tatarstan sanitary and recreational activities will be carried out on the area of over 6.4 thousand hectares, including illiquid wood harvesting - on the area of 3.1 thousand hectares.

Let us recall that sanitary measures are part of a set of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of the stands, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
