A ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the progress of execution of protocol orders was examined. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
The meeting participants reported to the Minister on the ongoing work to prevent and detect violations of forest legislation, to develop an estimated cutting area, to clean the forest fund, to develop the movement of school forest districts, to develop the Geographic Information System of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, to acquire equipment as part of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” and etc.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuziurov, instructed the Ministry to strengthen the work on implementation of federal state forest supervision (forest protection) on the lands of the forest fund. “Only systematic and high-quality work will be able to ensure compliance with the requirements of forest legislation, both by citizens and tenants of forest areas”, he emphasized.
In addition, the Minister outlined a number of tasks related to the professional holiday “Day of Forest Workers”, as well as the upcoming republican environmental campaigns “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” and “Forest Week - 2019”.
