The Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU pays special attention to formation of skills of students
The Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University pays special attention to the formation of skills and practical knowledge of students. So, yesterday, on October 2, teachers held a practical lesson on topic “Foundation of school department of main forest-forming species” for 2nd year students in the areas of “Forestry”, “Landscape Architecture” and “Ecology and Nature Management”.
During the lesson, the features of planting and growing the main forest-forming species, as well as ornamental trees and shrubs, were examined. Along with this, students learned about the methods of propagation of decorative tree species and their advantages.
At the end of September this year similar practical exercises were held on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Training and Experimental Sabinskiy Forestry Enterprise” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolskiy Experimental Forestry Enterprise”.
