Lesovoz Operation continues in Tatarstan. Its purpose is prevention and suppression of illegal logging, transportation and processing of wood in the republic.
So, since the beginning of October, the state forest inspectors together with the employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out 63 joint raids, inspected 90 vehicles loaded with timber. The operation will last until October 31.
We remind you that transporting wood without an accompanying document drawn up in the procedure prescribed by forest legislation entails the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles with confiscation of wood and (or) vehicles that are an instrument of an administrative offense, or without it; for legal entities - from 500 to 700 thousand rubles with or without confiscation of wood and (or) vehicles, which are an instrument of committing an administrative offense.
