Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov held a ministerial meeting
Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov held a ministerial meeting at which the progress of execution of protocol orders was reviewed. The event was attended by deputy ministers, administrative officer, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, issues of state forest supervision, sanitary and recreational activities, development of the estimated cutting area, supply of wood to the republic’s enterprises, development of the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan on state languages, etc were discussed.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov urged employees to strengthen control over identification and prevention of violations of forest legislation. “It is necessary not only to develop specific proposals to improve the effectiveness of state forestry supervision, but also to determine the timelines for achieving the objectives, the Minister said. - This is especially relevant now, because in a month the inter-departmental operational-preventive event “Yel” will start.
Along with this, Ravil Kuzyurov dwelled on the results of implementation of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” as part of the national project “Ecology”. He thanked the specialists of the Ministry for the work done and noted the timely completion of the task of purchasing specialized forestry and fire fighting equipment.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister gave a number of instructions regarding the development of the GIS of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and development of the school forestry movement.
