Ravil Kuzyurov: “5 personal qualities - decency, modesty, responsibility, respect for each person and desire to develop - are important to achieve success”
Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov met with third-year students of Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
During the meeting, Ravil Kuzyurov told students about his life path, professional choice and how he became a leader. “I began to earn extra money during the holidays after the 6th grade, of course, under the supervision of seniors, the Minister shared. - I graduated from a professional lyceum, having received the specialty “Mason of the 3rd grade”, served in the army and entered the Kazan State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In practice, we restored farms, it was very interesting. I began my career as an installer of Vostokmontazhgaz in Almetyevsk, where I got the idea to open my own business. I managed to implement it; I was engaged in entrepreneurial activity for 10 years”.
“Then I decided to accept the offer to enter the civil service. I began as head of the department of architecture and urban planning of the executive committee of the Aksubayevskiy district, after I became deputy head of the executive committee for infrastructure development. There were periods of work as chief adviser to the Office for Work with Territories of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Then for 4.5 years I headed Nurlatskiy municipal district and since 2018 I am the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Ravil Kuzyurov added.
“In general, I believe that everything is in our hands. There are so many examples when people achieved high results in various fields, regardless of their specialization, said Ravil Kuzyurov. - To achieve success, 5 qualities are important - decency, modesty, responsibility, respect for each person and a desire to develop. It’s like in sports - despite the difficulties, laziness, it’s important to give all the best every day and go to your goal. You now have much more opportunities than we had in our time”.
Ravil Kuzyurov also acquainted students with the history and current state of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan, the ongoing work on forests conservation, protection and reproduction. He dwelt in detail on implementation of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the national project “Ecology”, the laying of protective forest plantations and answered numerous questions of the meeting participants, in particular, on the work to prevent the occurrence of forest fires, to clean the forest fund territory, innovations in forestry, events to enhance the prestige of professions in the forest industry, etc.
After meeting with students, the Minister visited the Technology Research and Education Center of Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
