The State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise” is completing preparation for the upcoming forest and cultural season
The SBI of RT “Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise” completes preparation for the upcoming forestry season. The institution completed work on repairing forestry machinery and equipment, stratification of forest plant seeds, as well as on “snow blackening” - scattering of ash on the areas of the nursery’s sowing branches in order to accelerate the disappearance of snow cover and preserve water in the soil. In total, the employees of forestry enterprises brought in 900 kg of ash on the area of 2.6 hectares, 14 people were involved.
“Since we are located in the southeast of the republic, the climate spring has not yet arrived, said Olga Volkova, Forest Conservation and Protection Engineer of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminskiy Forest District”. - We are waiting for suitable weather to begin harvesting cuttings of poplar Hybrid-38. I think we can start next week. In total, it is planned to procure 20 thousand pieces of cuttings”.
Within the framework of the spring forest growing season, reforestation will be carried out on the area of 95 hectares, forest crops will be replenished on 220 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops - on 681 hectares, and laying of ravine-beam forest plantations - on 11 hectares on the territory of the Bugulminskiy forest district.
