School forest districts on the basis of educational institutions are actively developing in the Republic of Tatarstan. So, since the beginning of 2020, 12 new school forest districts were created in Tatarstan. Thus, currently there are 107 associations in which there are more than 1,500 people.

The average age of participants is 14 years. Each school forest district has a supervisor-teacher and curator from a subordinate institution of the Ministry, which conduct theoretical and practical classes for pupils.
