Ecotourism information portal launched in August
In August 2020, the information portal “Ecotourism in Russia - Traveling in Protected Areas” was launched, dedicated to the tourist opportunities of specially protected natural areas of federal significance.
To visit a nature reserve, national park or wildlife sanctuary, you must go to the website https://naturerussia.travel/, select the required region, category of the route (hiking, water, mountain, cycling, etc.) and its complexity (family, children, sports etc.). Currently, the portal is in the stage of filling with information and will be constantly updated in accordance with the pace of development of infrastructure for tourists in protected areas.
To date, the site from the Republic of Tatarstan posted the route “Ecological trail in the arboretum” (FSBI “Volzhsko-Kamsky state natural biosphere reserve”).
