On November 12th, the Russian Federation celebrates the ecological holiday titmouse day. The holiday was created on the initiative of the Russian Bird Conservation Union.

On this day, residents of different settlements of the country are preparing to meet the “winter guests” birds that remain for the winter in Russian regions: tits, goldfinches, bullfinches, jays, tap dancers, waxwings. They prepare food for them, including “treats for tits”: unsalted bacon, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, make and hang feeders.
