In Tatarstan, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out in forests on an area of 4.4 thousand hectares

In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is being completed to improve the sanitary state of forest plantations within the framework of the state assignment for 2020. According to experts from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of December 17 of this year, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out on an area of ​​4.4 thousand hectares, including harvesting illiquid timber by 3.1 thousand hectares.

Let us remind you that sanitary and recreational activities are part of the complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out in order to preserve the biological stability of plantings, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
