Rosleskhoz discussed the implementation of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” in 2021
Today, the Federal Forestry Agency held a videoconference meeting on the implementation of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology” in 2021. It was chaired by Mikhail Klinov, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency. The meeting was attended by representatives of forest management bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, heads of structural units of the Ministry.
During the meeting, the issues of achieving the target indicators of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” in 2021, carrying out reforestation work, ensuring fire safety in forests, purchasing silvicultural and forest fire equipment were considered.
Recall that the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” established 2 target indicators “The ratio of the area of reforestation and afforestation to the area of cut and dead forest plantations, %” and “Damage from forest fires, million rubles”. The design value of the first indicator for 2021 is 77.7%. According to the project, this year in Tatarstan it is planned to carry out reforestation work on an area of 3.8 thousand hectares.
Additional indicators of the project are “Stock of seeds of forest plants for reforestation and afforestation, kg” and “Amount of grown planting material of forest plants, thousand pieces”. Their design values for this year are 11,455 kg of seeds and 30,863 thousand seedlings, respectively.
