Seedlings, the green ambassade of Tatarstan went to Astrakhan where will be the foundation of the memorial of the green square called after Gabdulla Tukay.

Near the Ministry of Forestry RT there was a meeting dedicated to the sending in Astrakhan planting stock materials for beautification of the green square where will be opened the memorial to tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. The meeting was opened by First Deputy of the Minister Kharis Musin who told to the members of forestry and students of forestry faculty KSAU about the resort of Astrakhan fellows with the request to help them with the planting stock materials. In the early spring one of the specialists of the Ministry went to Astrakhan to define assortment and needed quantity of planting stock.

On the meeting there was a speech of the Chairman of Worldwide congress of Tatar, Farid Urazaev, who noticed that for the first time in Tatar world the seedlings became the ambassadors from the historical mother land he also thanked the members of the forestry for their help and honorable undertaking. The Chairman of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan Rafis Kurbanov told about the importance of Gabdulla Tukay’s poetry in the history of Tatar culture and mentioned that in April everywhere around Russia there will be readings form Tukay. The poet Gazinur Muratov read his poems to the people in the meeting. The spiritual guidance gave the representative of Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims Niyaz Khazrat Sabirov.

In two days 300 seedlings of pine trees and mountain ashes which were grown on the mother land of poet in nursery forest of Arskii forestry RT, accompanied by the specialist of the Ministry will be delivered to the South Volzhskii city, to the territory of green square and will be planted by the members of Tatar society “Duslik” in the Day of birth of great poet Gabdulla Tukay.
