Today, a videoconference meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the results of the work were summed up and the tasks for the second quarter of 2021 were outlined. It was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, heads of forestry and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
At the beginning of his speech, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov dwelled on the issues of participation of subordinate institutions of the Ministry in the sanitary and ecological two-month period.
“In order to prevent and timely detect unauthorized waste disposal sites, as well as to prevent violations of forest legislation, the foresters in the coming period need to strengthen the patrolling of the forest fund lands. In turn, the directors of the forestry enterprises should organize systematic work to clean up the lands of the forest fund, including areas adjacent to the settlements of the republic,” said Ilgizar Zaripov.
Another of the issues on the agenda of the meeting was the progress of preparations for the forest cultivation season in 2021. The First Deputy Minister said that this year in Tatarstan, within the framework of the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the national project “Ecology”, it is planned to carry out reforestation work on an area of 3.8 thousand hectares. Thus, the planting of forest crops will be carried out on an area of 1.4 thousand hectares, measures for natural reforestation ‒ on 2.3 thousand hectares, combined reforestation ‒ 4 hectares and afforestation ‒ 104 hectares.
“It is very important that all work is carried out in accordance with the established requirements in a timely agrotechnical time frame, because the achievement of the target indicator of the regional project “Preservation of Forests” depends on this,” stressed Ilgizar Zaripov.
At the end of the meeting, the First Deputy Minister reminded the participants of the need to strictly adhere to preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
