The Ministry considered the preparation for the fire hazardous season in the forests in the Muslyumovsky district of Tatarstan

Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting on preparations for a fire hazardous season in forests in the Muslyumovsky municipal district. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the head of the executive committee of the municipal district Rafael Demidov, head foresters, directors of forestry enterprises, heads of rural settlements.

The main report was made by Ilnar Akhmetgaliev, head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinsky forestry”. “In preparation for the fire hazardous period, we have developed a plan for extinguishing forest fires in the Menzelinsky forestry, issued a number of organizational and administrative documents, signed agreements on interaction with fire and rescue units of municipal districts, checked the firefighting equipment concentration points, formed 3 voluntary fire brigades”, said Ilnar Akhmetgaliev.

“Also, 10 routes were developed for patrolling the lands of the forest fund and training was organized for teams of forest fire stations, members of voluntary fire brigades under the program “Tactics and techniques for extinguishing forest fires”. At present, explanatory work continues among the population on the observance of fire safety rules in forests,” Ilnar Akhmetgaliev added.

First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov summed up the meeting. “In general, the Ministry and its subordinate institutions are ready for the fire hazardous season in forests. This was also shown by the inspection of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District, ‒ he said. ‒ In the coming period, it is necessary to strengthen monitoring of the fire hazard and control over the observance of fire safety rules in forests by citizens, institutions, organizations, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.”
