15 April 2021, Thursday

From April 15, 2021, a fire hazardous season in forests has been opened in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Recall that in accordance with fire safety rules, it is prohibited in forests:

- use an open fire (bonfires, blowtorches, stoves, barbecues, braziers) in young coniferous stands, in burnt-out areas, in areas of damaged forest, peat bogs, in felling areas (in felling areas) not cleared of felling residues (wood residues formed in the felling area when felling and skidding trees, as well as when clearing trunks from branches, including the tops of felled trees, picking off, twigs, brushwood) and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, as well as under tree crowns;

- throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ash from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, jars, etc.);

- use during hunting wads from combustible (capable of spontaneously igniting, as well as ignite when exposed to an ignition source and burn independently after removing it) or smoldering materials;

- leave materials oiled or soaked with gasoline, kerosene or other flammable substances (paper, cloth, tow, cotton wool and other flammable substances) in places not specially provided for this;

- refuel the fuel tanks of internal combustion engines when the engine is running, use cars with a faulty engine power system, and also smoke or use open fire near cars fueled with fuel;

- to carry out work with open fire on peat bogs;

- to burn out brushwood, forest litter, dry grass and other combustible materials (substances and materials that can ignite spontaneously, as well as ignite when exposed to an ignition source and burn independently after its removal) on land plots directly adjacent to forests, protective and forest plantations, and not separated by a fire-fighting mineralized strip with a width of at least 0.5 meters;

- litter the forest with production and consumption waste.

Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles. If the violation was committed under a special fire safety regime, in this case, the size of the administrative fine increases and will amount to 4,000 to 5,000 rubles for citizens, 20,000 to 40,000 rubles for officials, and 300,000 to 500,000 rubles for legal entities.

It should be noted that in 90% of cases, the main cause of forest fires is violation of fire safety rules and careless handling of fire. If you witness a fire in the forest, immediately report it by phone: 8-800-100-94-00, 8 (843) 221-37-95.
