The head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the celebration of Sabantuy in the Alkeevsky district
Today the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov paid a working visit to the Alkeevsky municipal district. There he took part in the celebration of Sabantuy in the village of Bazarny Mataki.
The Minister greeted the audience on behalf of the leadership of the republic, stressing the importance of the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy.
“Sabantuy is not just a symbol of the end of spring fieldwork, but also peace, harmony, and friendship of all peoples, hospitality, and diligence, - said Ravil Kuzyurov. - This year Sabantuy coincided with one of the main public holidays - the Day of Russia. Russia is a strong country. We have a rich past, a worthy present and I am sure a great future. With all my heart I wish you all good health, happiness, and prosperity.”
The head of the municipal district Alexander Nikoshin also greeted those present.
Further, awards were presented to the distinguished workers of the Alkeevsky district.
The holiday was accompanied by a rich cultural and entertainment program with the participation of creative teams of the region. Horse races, various competitions, games, as well as sports, were organized: belt wrestling, kettlebell lifting, and arm wrestling, tug of war, climbing a pole, running with rocker arms and buckets of water, running in bags, fighting on a log, etc.
