The Rosleskhoz discussed the preparation for the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”
Today, the Federal Forestry Agency hosted a videoconference meeting on the preparation for the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”. It was attended by representatives of forestry management bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov, and others.
The meeting was opened by the Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Mikhail Klinov.
Then the head of the Department of Reproduction and Protection of Forests Alexander Kuzenko made a presentation. He focused on the selection of sites for the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”, standard planting material, media support for the campaign, etc.
It is expected that in the Republic of Tatarstan the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” will take place in the first decade of October 2021. Within its framework, it is planned to plant over 1 million seedlings on an area of 300 hectares.
