Another temporary restriction on visiting forests introduced in Tatarstan
Due to the high class of fire hazard in forests, following the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 671 dated 02.08.2021, the Republic of Tatarstan restricted the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them from August 2 to 21 calendar days. Restrictions are established to forests located on the lands of the forest fund of the republic.
Specialists of the forestry industry of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out work on the installation of warning notices about the introduction of the corresponding restriction, the period of its validity, and the blocking of forest roads with barriers.
To ensure fire safety in forests in the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the around-the-clock watch has been organized, patrolling in forest areas has been strengthened, and temporary posts will be formed in places of mass visits to forests on weekends. In general, the full readiness of fire extinguishing forces and means, including reserve ones, for prompt response to messages about forest fires has been ensured.
