Specialists of the Cheremshansk forestry enterprise are harvesting seeds of silver birch
Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Cheremshansky forestry" are harvesting seeds of drooping birch. "Currently, work is being carried out in quarter 5 of the Kazankinsky district forestry of the Cheremshansky forestry, 7 people are involved. In total, 150 kilograms of seeds have been harvested to date. The first batch in the amount of 50 kilograms was sent for examination to the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan," said the director of the forestry enterprise Nikolai Kvakov.
According to him, the harvested seeds will be used for the reproduction of forests and sown in the basic forest nursery. Let us remind you that these works are carried out within the framework of the regional project "Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan" of the national project "Ecology".
