The Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan continues work on assessing the quality of seeds of forest plants

In the branch of FBU "Roslesozashchita" - "Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan", work continues checking lots of seeds of forest plants within the framework of the state task "State monitoring of forest reproduction" in 2021. Thus, in July, the branch specialists examined 5 batches of freshly prepared and stored Scots pine and European spruce seeds with a total weight of 45 kg.

During the work, 66% of the seeds turned out to be of the 1st quality class, 34% - the 3rd class. Based on the results of the check, documents were issued on the quality of seeds, as well as recommendations for their storage and pre-sowing treatment.
