The autumn stage of the environmental campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" started in the Republic
Today the autumn stage of the Republican Environmental Campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" has started in the Republic. It will last till November 13.
The autumn stage of the campaign will include the cleaning of the forest reserves of the republic from the solid municipal wastes, deadwood, and deadwood, as well as the repair and arrangement of placards, information boards, and recreation areas in the forest.
Recall that the republican environmental campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" is held by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. Its main objective is to create a favorable sanitary and ecological situation in forests. The action takes place in all municipal districts of Tatarstan. Along with the specialists of subordinate institutions of the Forestry Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan the permanent participants of the action include workers of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations, and republican enterprises, forest tenants, representatives of gardening communities, cooperatives, environmental associations, students of higher and specialized secondary educational establishments and volunteers.
According to the results of the spring stage of the action "Clean Forests of Tatarstan", held from April 19 to June 19 this year, more than 1.5 thousand cubic meters of solid waste, deadwood, and fallen trees were collected and removed from the forest reserves. In addition, 155 information boards and billboards, 108 recreation sites of citizens staying in the forests were repaired and 24 springs were landscaped. Over 5.5 thousand inhabitants of the republic joined the action.
