Congratulations of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan R.A. Kuzyurov on the Day of Forest Workers
Dear colleagues and veterans of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan!
On behalf of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday - Day of Forest Workers!
The forest is rightfully called a national treasure, the priceless green wealth of our country. One of those who most succinctly defined the importance of forests in nature and human life was the famous writer Konstantin Paustovsky. In The Green Guard, he wrote: "The forests are our future, the fate of our crops, our deep rivers, our health and, to a certain extent, our culture. Therefore, the forest must be protected, how we protect human life, how we protect our culture and all the achievements of our extraordinary era."
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the formation of the state forestry management body of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Lubyanka Forestry College. We have come a long and difficult way, have accumulated invaluable experience in the field of reforestation, field-protective afforestation, protection of forests from fires and illegal logging, their protection from pests and diseases. Our task is to preserve the established traditions and, at the same time, boldly keep pace with the times.
I am sure that we are capable of solving any problems. Despite the difficult conditions prevailing in the current year, we achieved the main goal of the federal project "Preservation of Forests" of the national project "Ecology", ensuring the balance of loss and reproduction of forests in the ratio of 100%, were able to reduce to a minimum the threat of the spread of forest fires, completed several silvicultural, forest protection, forestry and logging works, provided by the state order. Also in 2021, the digitalization of the forestry complex continued, the transfer of public services provided by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to an electronic form was carried out.
I am from the bottom of my heart grateful to those who work today in the timber industry of the republic, for their high professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to their work. I would like to express special words of gratitude to our veterans for their conscientious work and invaluable contribution to the development of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan.
