The festival is devoted to the first Minister of Forestry of Tatarstan Alexander Alexandrovich Gulyaev. Upon termination of the Great Patriotic War during which he performed duties of the landing craft officer of the Danube warship flotilla being the part of the Black Sea Fleet, the discharged veteran Alexander Gulyaev worked as a Forest Protection Inspector and then as a forester in the Aksubaevo Forestry Establishment.

 

     The festival participants were welcomed by the Head of Aksubaevsky Municipal District Kamil Gilmanov. The Head of the Civil Service and Personnel Department Airat Akhmerov and the Head of the Special Inspection for Biodiversity Condition Monitoring and Specially Protected Natural Reservation Alexander Gulyaev, the grandson of A.A. Gulyaev, took part in the festival.

 

      The participants of the festival were involved in different activities, such as contests, quizzes, and sports events. They worked on the areas of the City of Craftsmen, attended a Green Concert and a fashion show “Eco-Fashion”. The young craftsmen of the district competition “Birdhouse” were awarded on the festival.

 

      On behalf of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan the Aksubaevo Administration was given a Certificate for the planting stock to lay the Alexander Gulyaev Walk.

During the meeting the landscaping and greening of the Bavlinsky Municipal District were considered. The Principal Adviser of the Reafforestation and Afforestation Department of the Ministry Timur Galiev made a report “On the Year of Parks and Garden Squares in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

     The Spartakiade of civil servants of the Republic of Tatarstan included swimming contests. In its heat the ministry team (the Head of Property Management and Technological Development Department Niyaz Imamiev, the Principal Adviser of the Reafforestation and Afforestation Department Timur Galiev, Lead Consultants of the State Control Department Andrey Atamanov and Nail Mirsiyapov, Lead Consultant of the Legal Department Raushaniya Kamalova) came first being ahead of the teams of Investment Promotion Agency, the Ministry of Education and Rospotrebnadzor.

Over the last weekend, by the morning of June 22, 2015, no fires have been recorded in the forest area of the Republic of Tatarstan.

        Throughout its activities, the Lubyansky College (forestry technical school) is a basis of occupational education of several generations of wood growers not only for the Republic of Tatarstan but for the Russian Federation. About hundred graduates of 2015 will get certified in Forestry and Aesthetic Forestry, Landscaping and Landscape Gardening, Economics and Accounting. The chairmen of the examination board are the First Deputy Minister Kharis Musin (forest issues) and the Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov (economic issues).

The financial assistance and support of charity event for school kits collection “The Knowledge Day to Novorossiya!” will be given by fund transfer in the amount of one working day salary.

The Ministry forwarded such an event appeal to forest workers of subordinated authorities as well.

Prior to retirement Ablkaram Korbangalievich Mingaliev held a senior position working as a forester of the Kama Forestry. He left a good memory behind – hundreds hectares of planted and grown forests.

The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Almas Nazirov sent a telegram of heartfelt condolences to the Ablkaram Mingaliev’s family.

      This is both a show and an assessment of knowledge and practical skills received for three years of studying. Students specialized in “Forestry and Aesthetic Forestry” competed in ability to suppress a forest fire, administer first aid, follow directions, take measures for reafforestation, plantation evaluation, assortment of trees. Throughout the route, competitors determined tree and shrubbery vegetation, grass vegetation, forest planting pests; they also used forestry mechanical equipment.

        All participants passed all phases of competitions were assigned by 3 category wood grower. The winners of competitions are Almaz Tazeev, Mikhail Gusev and Pavel Alexeev.

Pest control is carried out on the territory of Dolgaya Polyana Nature Sanctuary where the sanctuary’s staff have found several conifers affected by leaf-eating insects. In particular, juvenile pines were eaten by aphid and spruce spider mite. Small lesions were treated by the sanctuary’s staff. Bus as for the protection of big trees such as the Siberian spruce that decorates the Molostvovye Manor House and is the nationwide natural monument, the Administration of the Sanctuary sought help from the foresters of the Tetyushi Forestry.
