Very soon spring will be filled with migrating birds’ warbles. Every bird will return to where it came from. It might be surprising but birds are never mistaken.
Rooks are the first to come back home. They are for a reason called spring messengers. Common plovers, grackles, larks, ducks and geese are the next to return. Then we will meet cuckoos, swifts, sparrows and other migrating birds.
Forest groves, fields and meadows are filled with happy chatter of birds. The same is observed in cities and villages: in parks, gardens and front gardens.
Birds make new nests or repair the old ones using branches or rods. Indeed, many birds left their nests here when migrated to the South. Birds get ready to bring out nestlings in their nests and birdhouses among fresh leaves. Pupils from school forestries help them with this task.
Fellow workers of Tyubyak-Chirkovsky local forestry of the State Public Establishment “Buinsk forestry”, Yu. I. Listratov and V.N. Listratov, together with pupils visited Apastovo secondary school in quarter No. 11 of the local forestry to hang the birdhouses they made during shop classes. Guests of the Northern Kazakhstan region will visit the Forest Selection and Seed Center in Saby district and a nursery of the Scientific and Experimental Prigorodny Forest.
The briefing was devoted to the Year of Parks and Square Gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister acknowledged that the Ministry had carried out work together with municipal formations of the Republic on collection and analysis of the information related to the extent of future work. According to the submitted data, it is necessary to carry out work on establishment and beautification of parks and square gardens on the area of about 800 ha. Achievement of these goals will require about 500 thousand pieces of various planting material including more than 200 thousand pieces of large-sized planting material.
“We believe, - acknowledged A. Nazirov, - that for the purposes of beautification we should use the main forest-forming species that grow on our territory. Such species include big-leaf linden, mountain ash, drooping birch, blue spruce, pine, Norway maple, and poplars, while bushes include lilac, acacia, barberry, spirea, briar, japonica, bird-cherry, snowball, wild apple and other. Such wood species easily adjust to new conditions and don’t really depend on external factors. The use of the planting material brought from southern countries is not always a success. Such trees are characterized by low survival rate, and they can’t adjust to rather harsh winter conditions of our climatic zone, so in the end they die”.
Deputy Head of Kazan Executive Committee – Chairperson of the External Beautification Committee Igor Kulyazhev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on parks and square gardens Natalya Fishman participated in the briefing.
