Since 2013, experts of the Ministry have been cooperating with their colleagues from the Forest and Hunting Industry Committee of the Republic of Crimea
On the threshold of the first anniversary of the Crimea integration with Russia, the Ministry was visited by the delegation of Bakhchisaray and Kuybyshev forestries. An Agreement on cooperation and mutual activity in the field of forest reclamation, forest cultivation, landscaping, delivery of planting material and tree seed stock was signed at the conference room between the State Public Establishment “Arsk forestry” and the State Autonomous Establishment “Kuybyshev forestry” by Head-forester Shamil Khayrullin and Director Andrey Volkov.
During their stay in Tatarstan, the Crimean guests visited the territories of Arsk and Saby forestries, where they inspected III type fire and chemical stations and production wood processing territories, and they also familiarized with work of school forestries.
As it was noted by Director of Bakhchisaray forestry, Alexander Berezin: “We wanted to vividly see specificity of work of forestries and forest entities and to talk with people. Here, in Tatarstan we can have any consultation – from legal to forest management matters, they advise us and help with practical issues. We are delighted by the level of forest management, technical equipment of establishments and beautification of forest villages”.
Saby citizens presented elite pine and larch seeds from the Forest Selection and Seed Center.
