On the recommendation of the UN, November 20th is for the first time recognized as the All-Russian Day of Legal Assistance to Children. The date was not randomly selected since it is on this day that in 1959 the General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the rights of children, and in 1989 – the Convention on the Rights of the Child that oblige all the countries to provide children with good life and happy childhood.
Fellow workers of the establishments subordinate to the Ministry of the Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan joined the All-Russian campaign of legal assistance to children. Deputy Head-Forester of the State Public Establishment “Agryz Forestry” V.L. Ishmuratov, legal advisor of the State Public Establishment “Aznakaevo Forestry” R.R. Galeeva and the forest forewoman T.A. Egorova visited school No. 3 named after Tazy Gizat in Agryz. The conversation with teenagers attending schools was held in the form of familiarization with their rights in the family, society, and consulting with regard to their interpersonal relationships and family well-being.

Special account to collect monetary means to help relatives of those who perished in the air crash on November 17, was opened in the Republic of Tatarstan, reports press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Fellow workers of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, all arborists of the Republic express their true condolences to the families of those who perished in the air crash that happened in Kazan Airport on November 17.

Events of the campaign were held from April 15 until June 15 and from September 1 until November 1, 2013. More than 7 thousand people took part in the campaign, about 400 companies were engaged in the campaign along with 543 tenants of the forest land, 25 horticultural societies and co-operatives. Following the results of the campaign, 4882.1 m3 of solid domestic and other waste were collected and removed.

Scheduled work on replenishment of forest plantations on the area of more than 6 thousand ha has been completed in the forest area, but meteorological conditions of November along with sufficient reserve of productive moisture in the soil allows foresters to continue tree-planting works. This year more than 70 million pieces of planted trees were grown in basic forest nurseries, whereof 323 thousand pieces were represented by large timber used for beautification of cities and settlements. In Sovietsky district of the capital alone, there were planted 900 pieces of nurslings that had been grown in the forest nursery of Scientific and Experimental Prigorodny forestry.
