The Republican forum devoted to the 50th anniversary of the movement of student labor unions in the Republic of Tatarstan “Meeting of generations” was held in the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Cases of arsons of orthodox temples sparked concern of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He took cases investigation under his personal control and charged the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to start restoration of orthodox cult constructions in the Mamadysh, the Rybnaya Sloboda and the Novo- Sheshminsk municipal areas.

Keys to 50 UAZ vehicles will be handed over to workers of forest divisions by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov in a festive atmosphere. The ceremony will take place at the Isk-Kazan forest division of the Suburban forest division on December 5.
The largest nursery of the Volga territory that holds the title of “High culture forest nursery of the Russian Federation” was created in 1967, and its total area amounts to 57 ha. The nursery boasts a three-year rotation for common pine and Siberian larch, and a 4-year rotation for fir-tree. This year, a new technology for growing of ball-rooted planting material has been mastered in the nursery.
The planting material meeting all the highest standards is delivered from the nursery no only to all the districts of Tatarstan and Volga Region; it is also bought by the near-abroad countries. Moreover, the planting material participates in the Days of forest planting held on the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the “Green Record” project aimed at beautification and landscaping of Kazan.
The contest of pedagogical art is aimed at revelation of the best examples of scholastic work implementing main and additional educational programs for pupils using information and communication technologies in the academic process.
It is the third year that Ekaterina Petrovna Usacheva has been teaching at college, and she has gained a reputation of a promising teacher who uses various methods to motivate students studying forest science to actively participate in the academic process.
In Anapa, the Krasnodar Krai, the Federal Agency for Forestry Affairs holds the All-Russian meeting of press secretaries and public relations consultants. Work results of the press services of all federal districts have been summed up at the meeting. Within the framework of tutorial workshops lectures and trainings of modern approaches in the sphere of public relations through mass media will take place.
These meetings in Lubyany become a tradition. Chiefs of the Ministry departments prepared a series of lectures on the principal directions of forest management for senior students. Students considered and analysed examples from administrative practice and activity of the state control and supervision, they got acquainted with the latest scientific solutions in forestry and perspective projects of forest utilization. Thus, in the course of studying they acquire knowledge and experience which will be useful to them in a couple of years.
During his address at the 46th sitting of the session, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan N.G. Magdeev justified propounding of the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On making amendments to Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On the use of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” in order to bring it in line with the federal legislation.
The issues regarding preparation and transportation of woof from forestries in the next 2014 year were discussed during the meeting. At present, preparation of soft-wooded broadleaf wood is carried out on a rotational double-shift basis using modern harvesting techniques – harvesters and forwarders. Short log trucks of the Forest Transportation Company transport wood from forestries to the plant in the special economic zone “Alabuga”. About 9 thousand cubic meters of wood were transported to the sites of the plant during the last one and a half months.
