Address of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan N.G. Magdeev at the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

The issues regarding ownership, use, and management of forests subject to the Forestry Code of the Russian Federation and other federal laws are in joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. Subject to Part 5 of Article 76 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, laws of constituent entities of the Russian Federation can’t be inconsistent with federal laws.
During his address at the 46th sitting of the session, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan N.G. Magdeev justified propounding of the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On making amendments to Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On the use of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” in order to bring it in line with the federal legislation.
