On delivery of wood to the plant “Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry”

A working meeting of the Minister Nail Magdeev was held at the special economic zone “Alabuga” with heads-foresters and directors of subordinate establishments. Arrangement of continuous delivery of wood to the plant “Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry” was on the agenda.
The issues regarding preparation and transportation of woof from forestries in the next 2014 year were discussed during the meeting. At present, preparation of soft-wooded broadleaf wood is carried out on a rotational double-shift basis using modern harvesting techniques – harvesters and forwarders. Short log trucks of the Forest Transportation Company transport wood from forestries to the plant in the special economic zone “Alabuga”. About 9 thousand cubic meters of wood were transported to the sites of the plant during the last one and a half months.
