By statistics more than736 000 people take part in tree planting event. In one day was planted around 27 000 000 of trees. New forest is appeared on the place of 8700 ha.
In the final part of the competition where more than 100 paper works from Russia were represented, two paper works from Republic of Tatarstan were selected. They were made by students of Lubyanskii forest engineering college Igor Matveev and Zagir Askarov. Research of Igor Matveev “The influence of magnetic water on germinating and growth of Scots Pine seedlings” was admitted between the best and got 2d place in nomination “Preparation for Professional Activities”.
The members of state nature reserved forest “Ashit” organized tree planting with the help of teachers and students of 12 schools of this region. They planted around 3 thousand of planting stock of different kind.
The delegation of Leningradskii province headed by the governor Aleksandr Drozdenko came to Tatarstan. Right after arriving, guests together with the president of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov went to Sabinskii region.
Specialists and members of ministries and departments of Kazan took part in tree planting in a district of Blue Lake, near village Borovoe Matushino. Action Day of tree planting came around in every municipal region of Tatarstan. On a special places of forest on 18th of May there were planted 1 million 248 thousands of trees and planting stock. This action put together 15 thousand people. That was a contribution of tatar people to the green race of all-Russian Day tree planting and also to the improvement of ecological situation in Republic.
The topic of briefing, which is going to happen in basis forest nursery of state budget authority “Studying-scientific Prigorodnii Leskhoz” is progressive methods of forestry works.
The ecological marathon in which took part 15 representatives of schools went in Aznakaevo. For competitive task they made projective works on the topic of environmental protection, pictures and craft works. The specialists of reserved forestry “Chatir-Tay” made a trivia for kids how do they know flora and fauna of their native land and rules of safety in forest.
To all the children were given memorable presents.
Children took active part in events dedicated to 68th Victory Day in World War II. They made for veterans concert programs, made beautification of memorials to heroes of WWII.
On 9th of May school forestry in Kaleikino spent the whole day in the memorial.
The veterans put flowers to the bust of Akleksandr Gulyaev, the Minister of Forestry of TAUSSR, veteran of World War II who was fighting on the ship as a part of Chernomorskii sea flotilla and he was also awarded by governmental and military medals.
The mail goal of the meeting is to take care as much as possible attention to veterans, to give them good celebrating mood and also remind to the youth about the feat of solders and workers of home front.
The First Deputy of the Minister Kharis Musin told about the Ministry of Forestry about an interesting innovational projects and wished to veterans to live for long years, good and strong health and love of family and relatives.
The meetings with veterans are going on in every subordinate authorities of the Ministry. They are helping to veterans on medical and material way, thy make concerts for them and repair houses.
