The procedure for keeping a logbook of vehicles on which timber is transported has been submitted for public discussion
Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated November 24, 2021, No. 2017 approved the requirements for the location and characteristics of timber warehouses.
These requirements stipulate that the timber warehouse must be equipped with means of securing vehicles.
To ensure traceability of timber turnover in the event of a malfunction of the fixing means or other reasons due to which it is impossible to record timber trucks entering or leaving the timber warehouse, information about the relevant vehicle is recorded in the logbook on paper.
Rosleskhoz has developed a draft order regulating the procedure for maintaining such a register of vehicles on paper, the terms of its storage, and the procedure for drawing up an act on the impossibility of fixing vehicles using fixing means, which is currently posted on the Internet for public discussion.
