The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan recalls the possibility of citizens harvesting timber for their own needs
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan recalls the possibility for citizens to harvest timber for their own needs. So, following Part 1 of Art. 7 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated May 22, 2008 No. 22-ЗРТ “On the use of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan,” citizens, if necessary, can harvest up to 100 cubic meters of wood for building a house and outbuildings once every 25 years, up to 50 cubic meters of wood for repairs houses and outbuildings once every 10 years and up to 20 cubic meters of wood per household for space heating once a year.
Please note that there are no benefits to the allocation of wood. The cost of wood under a contract for the sale of forest plantations for the own needs of citizens is calculated based on the Decree of the State Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan on Tariffs dated 07.10.2020 No. 107-2/nps.
The administrative regulations for the provision by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan of the state service “Conclusion of contracts for the sale of forest plantations for the own needs of citizens” was approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 11.12.2015 No. UP-1191. To receive the service, you must personally or through a representative submit an application and consent to the processing of personal data to the Ministry. Ministry specialists note that documents can be submitted without leaving home, through the portal of state services of the Russian Federation (https://www.gosuslugi.ru/) or the portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan (https://uslugi.tatarstan.ru/ ).

According to experts from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the most common reason for refusing to provide this service is the incomplete indication of personal data (full name) by the applicant or incorrect indication of the purpose of acquiring wood (the correct spelling can be found in part 1 of article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 22.05.2008 No. 22-ZRT).
