The fire season in the forests has opened in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan recalls that following the fire safety rules, it is prohibited in forests:
- use open fire (bonfires, blowtorches, stoves, barbecues, braziers) in young coniferous forests, on burnt areas, in areas of damaged forest, peat bogs, in logging sites (at logging sites) that are not cleared of logging residues (wood residues formed in a logging site when felling and skidding trees, as well as when cleaning trunks from branches, including the top parts of felled trees, logs, branches, brushwood) and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, as well as under the crowns of trees;
- throw burning matches, cigarette butts, and hot ash from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, cans, etc.);
- when hunting, use combustible wads (capable of spontaneous combustion, as well as ignite when exposed to an ignition source and burn independently after its removal) or smoldering materials;
- leave materials (paper, cloth, tow, cotton wool, and other combustible substances) oiled or impregnated with gasoline, kerosene, or other combustible substances in places not specially provided for this;
- refuel fuel tanks of internal combustion engines while the engine is running, use cars with a faulty engine power system, and also smoke or use open flames near cars refueling;
- perform work with an open fire on peat bogs;
- carry out burning of brushwood, forest floor, dry grass, and other combustible materials (substances and materials that can ignite spontaneously, as well as ignite when exposed to an ignition source and burn independently after its removal) on land plots directly adjacent to forests, protective and forest plantations and not separated by a fire-resistant mineralized strip with a width of at least 0.5 meters;
- litter the forest with production and consumption waste.
Following the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated April 6, 2022 No. 319, a special fire regime operates in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan from April 25 to May 15, 2022.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens for up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles. If the violation is committed under the conditions of a special fire regime, in this case, the amount of the administrative fine increases and will amount to 4,000 to 5,000 rubles for citizens, 20,000 to 40,000 rubles for officials, and 300,000 to 500,000 rubles for legal entities.
