At the end of 2021, out of 82 regions of Russia, the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan took 5th place in the rating of the Federal Forestry Agency. And 3rd place - among the subjects of the Volga Federal District.
In general, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has occupied a leading position in the Rosleskhoz rating for 7 years in a row.
“The forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most profitable: 1 hectare of forest brings more than 417 thousand rubles a year to the federal and republican budgets. The Ministry pays special attention to the reproduction of forests, carrying out the necessary technological operations with high quality and on time. For example, the death of forest crops planted in 2021 was not allowed,” said Alexander Panfilov, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency.
Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan and subordinate forestries promptly identified violators of forest legislation. Guilty persons are established in 97% of such cases. This is a very high figure. According to this criterion, the department took the 5th place in Russia.
In 85% of cases, those who violated the law voluntarily compensated for the damage caused, as a result of which the municipal budgets of the region were additionally replenished by 49 million rubles. Basically, these are violations associated with forest pollution with sewage, chemical and other harmful substances, industrial and consumer waste. For the organization of forest control (supervision), the foresters of Tatarstan were awarded the 3rd place in the Russian Federation and the 1st place in the Volga Federal District.
“The high level of forestry efficiency has become possible, among other things, due to the special attention of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan to their forests. So, last year, the cost of their maintenance in the republican and federal budgets in the aggregate increased by 5% compared to 2020 and reached 1.2 billion rubles. At the same time, a significant part of this increase fell on the regional budget - 37% and amounted to 376 million rubles,” said Dmitry Plotnikov, head of the department for organizing control over the transferred powers of Rosleskhoz.
Rosleskhoz allocated additional funding for the payment of bonuses to the best employees of the Ministry of Forestry. It should arrive before the end of this year. At the same time, at least 50 percent of the amount received will be sent to forestry workers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
