Due to the high class of fire hazard in the forests, in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 08.07.2022 No. 655, the Republic of Tatarstan introduced restrictions on the stay of citizens in the forests and the entry of vehicles into them from July 8 to 21 calendar days. Restrictions are set for forests located on the lands of the forest fund within the boundaries of Aksubaevsky, Alkeevsky, Apastovsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Vysokogorsky, Kaibitsky, Pestrechinsky municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan.
Specialists of the forest industry of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out work on the installation of warning notices about the introduction of the relevant restriction, the period of its validity and the blocking of forest roads with barriers.
“In order to ensure fire safety in the forests, round-the-clock duty has been organized in subordinate institutions, patrols have been intensified in forest areas, and temporary posts have been organized in places of mass visits to forests on weekends. Also, the full readiness of fire extinguishing forces and equipment, including reserve ones, was ensured for prompt response to reports of forest fires,” said Alexei Mosunov, head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Recall that in the Republic of Tatarstan, fire safety in the forest is provided by 20 type II forest fire stations and 5 type III forest fire stations. Space, aviation and ground-based monitoring of the fire hazard situation in the forests is being carried out, in addition, a set of measures is being taken for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests.
