Republican competitions among volunteer fire departments took place in Kazan
Today, at the stadium of the Park of Culture and Leisure “Order” in the village of Vysokaya Gora, republican competitions were held among the volunteer fire departments of the Republic of Tatarstan with elements of Sabantuy. The competition was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov.
45 teams-winners of regional stages took part in the competition.
The races took place on two tracks. After the start, the participants on the run overcame the fence and the fire boom, provided first aid to the victims, knocked out special targets with the pressure of a jet of water. Also, during the competition, points were taken into account based on the results of the presentation of the DPO team, where the conditions for maintaining the premises of the voluntary fire department and special equipment were evaluated.
In addition, within the framework of the competition, a cultural and entertainment program, an exhibition of equipment, various competitions, games, etc. were organized.
The competitions were timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of the All-Russian Volunteer Fire Society and the 95th anniversary of the State Fire Supervision of Russia.
For reference. Voluntary fire protection is an organized social force that has a material and technical base and relies on numerous social assets. On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, 1,849 subdivisions of the DPO have been created with a total number of 11,429 volunteers who are included in the register of voluntary firefighters. Every year, voluntary fire departments of Tatarstan make about a thousand emergency trips, save the inhabitants of our republic from death and injury, material assets worth more than two billion rubles.
