First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov took part in the work of the All-Russian Forum “Digital Transformation of the Forest Complex”

Today, Ulyanovsk hosted a plenary session of the 2nd All-Russian Forum “Digital Transformation of the Forest Complex – 2022”. It was attended by heads and specialists of regional forest management bodies, representatives of the scientific and expert community, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov.

During the forum, the issues of digitalization of the forest industry, the development of the Federal State Information System of the Forestry Complex, state regulation of timber turnover in the Russian Federation in 2022-2025, etc. were discussed.

Reports were made by Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Vyacheslav Spirenkov, Minister of Nature and Circular Economy of the Ulyanovsk Region Gulnara Rakhmatulina, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Head of the Department for the Use and Reproduction of Forests, Maintaining the State Forest Register of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus Albert Zakirov and others .

First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov presented the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of digitalization of the forest complex. He spoke about the implemented geographic information system of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the service for monitoring and controlling the state of the forest fund based on remote sensing data and the accounting system of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. “These tools make it possible to automate the accounting and management of forest resources, to detect changes in the forest fund in a timely manner, including illegal logging of forest plantations, burnt forest areas,” said Ilgizar Zaripov. “In addition, a project was implemented to transfer public services provided by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan into electronic form.”

According to him, a total of 13 public services have been digitized. Among them - the provision of a forest plot for rent, for free use, permanent (unlimited) use, the conclusion of contracts for the sale of forest plantations for the own needs of citizens, the acceptance of forest declarations and reports on the use of forests, the provision of extracts from the state forest register, etc.

“Currently, work is underway to create a digital database on the lands of the forest fund, purchase quadcopters and modernize the IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate institutions,” concluded the First Deputy Minister.
