Today, employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the exposition of a multimedia exhibition dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria.
Specialists learned about the main periods of the development of Islam in the Volga region: from the period of the Volga Bulgaria and the Golden Horde to the Soviet era and modern Russia, saw unique archival documents, manuscripts, documents about Islamic education, about Muslims in public service, about the current state of Islam in Russia, architectural drawings of religious buildings.
Recall that the organizer of the multimedia exhibition dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria is the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archival Affairs. The exhibition is held in the city of Kazan in the historical park “Russia - My History”.
