MBOU “Shilnebashsky secondary school with in-depth study of the English language” of the Tukaevsky municipal district hosted an environmental campaign “Hand over the battery - save the nature!”. It was organized by pupils of the school forestry “Naturalist” and specialists of the GKU RT “Yelabuzhsky forestry”.
Pupils of grades 1-11 took part in the action, in total 2 kg of batteries were collected.
The collected batteries were handed over to Grinta LLC.
“We carry out such actions systematically, 6-7 times a year,” said Evgenia Kletkina, deputy head of the forestry department of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Yelabuzhsky forestry”. “In total, in the fourth quarter, schoolchildren from Yelabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny collected 7 kilograms of batteries. At the same time, explanatory work is being carried out on the importance of proper disposal of batteries, and the need for respect for nature.”
