Restoration work at the facilities of wooden architecture of Kazan continues

Great creational work on reconstruction and reproduction of the monuments of wooden architecture has been done by forestry workers. Eight houses in Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda and the historical center of Kazan were restored to life. External construction of all houses was completed at the beginning of summer. Conducted work of high quality was acknowledged with Letters of Gratitude of the Mayor of Kazan, I. Metshin. At present, working teams are restoring the porch of the house of merchant Alafuzov at Gladilova street, while engineering networks are installed at the building of the printing house and letter foundry of Karimov Brothers, interior decoration of the house at K. Nasyri street where Tatar enlightener Sh. Mardzhani lived, has been practically completed.
