Session of the Committee under the UN Economic Commission for Europe on Forests and the European Commission on Forest Management of the Food and Agricultural Organization is held in Finland

Deputy Head of the Federal Agency on Forestry A.V. Panfilov, Director of the Department of Natural Resources under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland Yu. Oyala spoke during the meeting of the Working Group on Sustainable Forestry of the Russian-Finnish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.  Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan N.G. Magdeev participates in the meeting.

The issues of interaction with Finland considering a new regulation of the EU on round timber and its implications for Russia will be discussed in the framework of the Working Group.
