January 15th is the All-Russian Day of hibernating birds

This day is celebrated in Russia also in memory of the writer Evgeny Nosov on the Day of his Birthday. Having read the poem of A. Yashin “Feed the birds in winter”, Evgeny Nosov decided to hang birdhouses every winter, thus, honoring the memory of his fried-poet, and he also posted the leaflets with this poem in order to attract the citizens of his native city to bird feeding.
