In Tver passes XII All-Russia Junior Forest Contest "Young Growth"

On the territory of the Kalinin district of Tver region Federal Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Education with the support of Russia and the Government of the Tver region holds the final stage of the All-Russian twelfth Junior Forest Contest "Young Growth".

 

The traditional, the final stage of the "undergrowth" this year gathered 95 high school students, students of educational institutions of secondary professional education of the 47 subjects of Russia.

 

 

Participants and guests were greeted by Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Natural Resources, Environment and Ecology, Vladimir Kashin; Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency, Alexander Panfilov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Tver region Alexei Chernyshov, president of the Russian Society of Foresters, academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Anatoly Pisarenko.

 

Vladimir Kashin in his opening remarks said that the Russian Junior Forest Contest "Young Growth" has a significant impact on the formation of the younger generation of responsible, careful attitude to the forest, and presented at the competition research in the field of wildlife management and forest ecology are an important part of career guidance , training the forestry sector among the talented youth.

 

Alexey Chernyshov, addressing the participants of the contest, he said: "You are the hope and future of the forest industry. We hope that the work of the competition will grow into your true vocation. "

 

Winners XII All-Russia Junior Forest Contest "Young Growth" in the category "Ecology of forest animals", "Ecology of forest plants", "Practical environmental activities", "silviculture", "Preparation for professional activity in forestry" and "School in a forest Modernization of Education "will be determined by the jury. From our country in the competition involves two Representative - Ilnaz Shayakhmetov of Arsky forestry RT "and Lubyanka Forestry College student Pavel Alexeev.
